Learning how to be good at production

LX: Harnesses

While operating the lights above the auditorium you must wear a harness. No one’s ever fallen but if you do and it’s during a performance you could land on audience members.

To put on a harness

  1. I’m small so I put on a yellow harness, put different places will have different colours.
  2. Put the harness on the ground, Put your feet in the holes making sure that most of the harness is behind you. Otherwise you’ll put it on backwards.
  3. Lift the harness so your legs fit through the holes and bring the harness behind you, over you.
  4. Connect it
  5. See the clip? When your not clipping it onto the rail, clip it onto the front of the harness.
  6. Tighten it
  7. You’re done!
