Stewarts Production Adventures Yr1

Learning how to be good at production

Rig for Pop

Today we put lanterns on the Truss, we used Zarges to get up there. I finally went up a Zarge. It took me a few tries to get the confidence to go up to focus a light, but I did! Except that I didn’t have the strength to hold the lantern up by the back, so I couldn’t actually focus the light.

What I had to do was undo the front and put in the gobo, which I remembered was to put the light in a different shape. Then I had to move the focus up and down (Move the focus forwards and backwards) and then move the light by the handle at the back. It was on the other side of the bar so I couldn’t get enough energy to push it,

Also I was told that 13a plugs have square connectors and 15a plugs have round connectors.

Soon I’ll need to get more confident on the fly floor.
